In the memory of the sad events that took place on September 11, 2001, we cannot help but:

1) Send our sincere condolences to all the people who lost their beloved ones in the attacks…

2) Wonder whether we were told the truth about what really happened on Sept. 11, and who the people responsible for the attacks were…

Watch Charlie Sheen’s Video Message to President Obama

“Charlie Sheen addresses the President about 9/11 in a special video message, shortly after releasing his “20 Minutes with the President,” specifically addressing 20 key points that need to be answered by a truly independent investigation.” —  Twenty Minutes With The President

3) Wonder whether the US government’s extraordinary reactions to the Sept. 11 attacks were justifiable..

3.1. Invasion of Iraq (2003)

“Immediately after the September 11 attacks US officials speculated on possible involvement by Saddam Hussein; although unfounded, the association contributed to public acceptance for the 2003 invasion of Iraq.”   — Reactions to Sept. 11

Watch The Truth About Iraq By a US Soldier

“Former Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill said Mr Bush was looking for an excuse to oust Saddam Hussein. As a member of the president’s National Security team he said he never saw any evidence of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.” — BBC NEWS: Bush ‘plotted Iraq war from start’

3.2. Afghanistan and Guantanamo

“On 11 January 2002, exactly four months after the terrible events of 9/11, the first of 774 prisoners arrived at a specially constructed prison on a US naval base in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. Until recently, it was impossible to tell the stories of these men. Held without charge, without trial, without access to their families, and, initially, without access to lawyers, they are part of a peculiarly lawless experiment conducted by the US administration, which has chosen to disregard both the Geneva Conventions and the established rules of war, holding the men not as criminals or as Prisoners of War, but as “illegal enemy combatants,” a category of prisoner which is itself illegal.”   —   The Guantanamo Files, for Andy Worthington

In the memory of Sept. 11 we cannot help but wonder: were the events that took place in 9-11 a part of another, bigger agenda that we are unaware of?

In the memory of Sept. 11, I send my condolences to the world.
